We seek a confident, permanent, full-time, hands-on Housekeeper/Assistant Manager couple to live-in. They will cover day to day running of this seasonal, small 12-bedroom B&B hotel and 6 cottages with guidance/support of the onsite owner couple. The hotel is in its own grounds in a beautiful location close to award-winning North Devon beaches. This may be one or two jobs/casual-time for one.

Candidates will be hands-on, team players, doing, planning, organising, including, front of house, bookings, breakfast and housekeeping. They’ll have excellent customer service, time-management, adequate computer skills and be adaptable and calm under pressure.

Lovely accommodation includes all bills and fair remuneration. The position could suit a couple for a bespoke and flexible arrangement over 7 days, including unsociable hours. The usual seasonal pressures balance relief and flexibility in low season.

Whilst not limiting you, the owners want manageable, simple, sustainability and not all-out growth, so perhaps a lifestyle choice for someone(s) which could include family. They must be able to relate to the owners through living here. Other skills/job could be helpful and considered, e.g., maintenance, gardening, or administration for one of the couple.
