An excellent position for a Live-In House Manager/Housekeeper or Couple at a country estate currently being used privately as a family holiday home and commercially for holiday hosting.

The ideal person should be self-employed and able to work mostly alone, with remote instruction and follow-up.

This is a good opportunity for someone looking for independence and a long-term commitment. The outgoing house manager is leaving after 10 years of service.

Duties to include housekeeping duties, such as domestic cleaning, making and changing Beds.

Running errands, attending to guest check-in and check-out (mainly on weekends).

Mowing the lawns, minor maintenance jobs and supervising external workmen.

Monitoring and keeping a systems maintenance logbook and litter disposal.

We are looking for a friendly and positive person/couple.

They must be pet friendly as we are potentially looking to get animals in the future.

Also looking for someone flexible, easy going calm and willing to chip in when needed.

The family offer a good package with 21 days annual leave.

Start date: End of August - Interviews taking place throughout August.

Hours: 45 hours flexible throughout the week according to job demand.

Remuneration: around £35,000 depending on capabilities.

Accommodation: Live-in, self-contained accommodation.

Must drive.
