A wonderful opportunity for an experienced housekeeper to help look after a beautiful 9-bedroom property situated on an estate with 80 acres of land and gardens.

Their friends and grown-up children with their families tend to visit often and they like to travel frequently. 

The role involves looking after their two dogs, taking them for walks and to the vets. When the couple are away there will be dog-sitting duties shared with the second housekeeper who is employed to cover the days off. There is a part-time cleaner twice a week and the Head Housekeeper will be responsible for coordinating the housekeeping rota. 

Help prepare meals of a simple breakfast, helping them with food preparation for lunch and dinner and cooking an evening meal for the couple.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience of working in a large formal home, be proactive, friendly and have bags of initiative. Flexibility is required when the family have guests staying as the working day can be longer and time will be given in lieu.

5 days over the weekend with two consecutive days off in the week.

When the couple are not in residence it will be Monday – Friday with weekends off.
