We are seeking two experienced carers to work on a two week rotation for an Octogenarian couple living independently in their large home in Devon.

Our clients' home is a 5-bed, 4-bathroom house over two floors with two acres of land, including woodlands, a pool, and a garden. The house has a chair lift. They have an eleven-year-old Dalmatian.

The lady requires help with dressing and personal care and as she is prone to falling prefers to go for visits to the seafront in her wheelchair. The male client has just been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes so this will need to be considered in meal planning.

Duties include, cleaning of a five bed, four bath house to a high standard (only part of the house is used regularly) and cooking meals from scratch.

The ideal candidates will have experience in manual handling, basic First Aid and safeguarding in adults. Good organisation skills with the ability to use own initiative and work alone or as part of a team. Ability to keep records in a clear, concise manner about the care and support given to the clients, including help with medicines.

Accommodation: A two bedroom detached cottage looking down a valley to the sea with garden and vegetable garden in a quiet part of beautiful East Devon. Council tax and utilities included. A car is provided for trips out with the clients.

Full, Clean Driving licence, a valid Enhanced DBS Certificate and recent checkable references are required. (AGY.)
