FULL TIME GROUNDSPERSON/HANDYPERSON required for small Wiltshire estate near Devizes. We are looking for someone who is organised, fit and healthy and energetic and someone who is able to work on their own and use their initiative to prioritise tasks. They will be responsible, together with the housekeeper, for the day to day running of the estate. Accommodation is provided on the estate in an attractive 3/4 bedroomed cottage with 2 bathrooms, open plan kitchen /living area with log burner. The cottage also has a private garden.

Duties include care of grounds and garden, routine maintenance of garden equipment including mowers and tractors and many handyperson duties on the Estate. The garden comprises mostly trees, shrubs and hedges and there is a lake and a deer park. You would also be responsible for swimming pool and tennis court maintenance and estate security. Occasional assistance in looking after 2 friendly dogs when we are away. Remuneration to be discussed based on experience. There is also an opportunity to assist in the management of a newly built property on the Estate which will be rented out for holiday lets. This might be of interest to any applicant who has a partner who wished to assist.
