An experienced housekeeper is required for a newly renovated, 9-bedroom beachfront home in the Highlands. The property serves as both a high-end holiday let and a private retreat for the owners.

An excellent standard of housekeeping is required - making beds, preparing rooms, laundry, ironing, silver and antiques care, floral arranging and occasional breakfast cooking. Responsibilities include managing guest experience - from initial communications, ensuring house systems are ready for use, greeting and addressing any problems that may arise during the guests' stay.

Whilst largely a housekeeping role, we are looking for someone who has the skills to act as an ambassador and a manager for this lovely home. This includes handling online bookings, liaising with agents, managing security and fire systems, overseeing tradespeople and gardeners, basic bookkeeping and ordering supplies. At busy times there is both cleaning and laundry help.

Excellent customer service skills, a can-do attitude and flexibility are essential.

A 2-bed self-contained flat with sea-views and paid utilities is provided. Beach, town and golf-club within walking distance. £35-£40K/a plus profit share. 

May also suit a couple with one working part-time - maintenance, lawns, assisting housekeeper at busy times. (To be negotiated.)
