Our lovely client is seeking a Carer, Companion to assist her with her daily activities in a beautiful edge of village location in Cornwall (between Truro and Plymouth). Our client lives with her husband, and they spend 6-8 weeks at a time in their London home for approximately five months of the year. The appointee is not required to travel to London with them.

The post would suit someone with previous experience of working with a client with Parkinson’s for example and has experience of housekeeping with family cooking. The ideal candidate has an excellent standard of spoken and written English, is empathetic, patient and discreet. The candidate is expected to operate professionally, competently as well as independently. Driver with own car preferred and non-smoker.

Hours of work: The working week is usually a Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday from 9.30am to 3.30/4pm each day. Our client is seeking a carer who will happily stay in the cottage overnight during the time that they are in their Cornwall home.
