Reliable, calm, problem solver, energetic all-rounder. Ideal candidate will be an experienced/ confident driver with own suitable vehicle with appropriate business use insurance (business car insurance not required just business use added to theirs) and also able to drive family car when required. Refs and Enhanced DBS will be required. Competitive hourly rate offered and expenses reimbursed.

Role involves supporting a young female adult with learning disability, autism, and epilepsy, accessing activities in the community or while at home plus supporting family when needed. Epilepsy pattern can change however currently well managed. Opportunity to do some additional hours at times however, not essential.

Reliable, positive and encouraging plus calm nature, good communicator, car driver and vehicle owner, Flexible. Basic first aid/safeguarding/neurodiversity awareness helpful. Small amount of personal care needed (mostly supervising/prompting/reminders), support with administering medication and maintaining a healthy diet and lifestyle. Help with managing some social anxiety, accessing social activities like the cinema, bowling, farms, regular volunteer work. Some support accessing medical appointments (with family), researching activities, journeys and trips, purchases, food planning/cooking, household errands, etc. Full support and training provided with epilepsy and routine. role will involve some shadowing/ training and support from family available at all times.
