We are looking for someone to join us to help with loosely termed ‘housekeeping’. We are a family of four, two children, 11years, and 15years. We have two well behaved and affectionate dogs, and a 14.3 pony who is literally a saint on four legs. With one adult in our family having an all consuming job involving much international travel; keeping up with driving kids for the school run, combined with laundry, cooking and meal plan and prep, mowing lawns (gardeners come weekly), doing odd jobs or sourcing assistance for this, and building work (currently) is proving very difficult solo. We are looking for someone to assist with much of above, someone practical, efficient and highly organised. In a nutshell, a good all-rounder, with main focus on household elements.

Help with driving is essential, so a clean driving licence and experienced driver is required. We are a family who are warm, approachable and highly respectful of those who work within our home. We are looking for someone who will become a trusted and valued part of ours and the children’s lives, whilst maintaining professional boundaries and standards.

We value initiative, emotional intelligence, energy, resilience and a good sense of humour as highly as formal qualifications. We offer separate private accommodation in a building seperate to family house, in own studio with own front door. This living space has been newly done and as yet unused, with brand new Wren kitchen, and newly done ensuite bathroom.

We live in a sought after part of wilts/glos area, have a fabulous village community, while also having much privacy behind a gated driveway and internal parking an outbuildings. Positioned next to a church, with a wide stretch of river bank, and a large vegetable kitchen garden, it is a natural and beautiful area to live within. We are looking for someone long term.
